La Primera Iglesia Presbiteriana Hispana de Tampa, fue organizada en 1981, por el Presbiterio de la Florida de la Iglesia Presbiteriana Unida en los  E.U. el Presbiterio de Westminster de la Iglesia Presbiteriana en los Estados Unidos y el Presbiterio de la Florida de la Iglesia Presbiteriana Cumberland.  En 1983 la Iglesia Presbiteriana en Estados Unidos y la Iglesia Presbiteriana Unida, se unieron y se formo la Iglesia Presbiteriana USA a la que pertenecemos hoy, conjuntamente con la Iglesia Presbiteriana Cumberland. Somos una iglesia que proclama las Buenas Nuevas de Salvacion. Una Congregacion multicultural, donde el elemento mas importante es el Amor. Creemos que la Biblia es la Palabra infalible de Dios, asi que nuestro ministerio esta centrado en el Evangelio de nuestro Señor como agente de cambio en toda persona y en la sociedad.  El Dios que se revela en La Palabra nos invita tambien a adorarle en comunidad, y en esa comunidad, no importa de donde vengas,  tu eres bienvenido/a.  

Our church is located in Tampa, Florida. Our congregation belongs to the Presbyterian Church USA, and Cumberland Presbyterian Church. We believe that the Bible is God’s perfect word for the world in every age and we want to encourage as many people as possible to read it for themselves. Our ministry is centred on the Bible and each week our focus is the clear explanation of the good news that Jesus came into the world to redeem people from sin. The gospel is a ‘change-agent’, bringing new life and fresh challenges to our society in every age. If you would like to know more about what Presbyterians believe you can find more information in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
